Although the geometric center of the club face has the tendency to be the point with the CT point, this may not always be the case. The surface plate of club heads can be engineered to shift the highest CT point to different positions. Because of this, it is important to not just test the geometric center, but multiple points to determine where the point with highest CT is located.
