The CT value of the club face is not even throughout. This is due to the structure of the face plate; mainly its’ varying thickness. On most conventional club heads, the point of

the highest CT is found at the geometric center of the club face. When testing for a club’s conformance, it is important to test the point of highest CT to ensure that no points on the club surface has a CT that exceeds conformance limits.
