Pendulum Arm Angle
After constant use, the pendulum arm of the CTM will begin to move from its default position. To check if the angle setting of the pendulum arm is still at the proper angle, set the CTM to the High Setting. The pendulum arm should form a 45° from its resting position.
Whether the pendulum arm has to be adjusted can be determined from the software. After running an impact test, look at the velocity of the pendulum. If the velocity does not sit between the ranges described below, the pendulum arm must be adjusted.
