Accelerometer

When inserting the accelerometer, make sure there is an ample amount of lubricant on the accelerometer screw. Only use the grease provided by the accelerometer manufacturer. This helps improve contact between the accelerometer and the pendulum piece, which improves signal reception.

The accelerometer should be attached to the pendulum using a digital torque wrench. The torque applied should be between 0.6 to 1.0 N·m. This is needed because the tightness of the accelerometer can affect the measured CT value.
