The original re-grooving tool designed for shaping the grooves on non conforming

irons and wedges, restoring worn out grooves in accordance to the rules of golf as

set by the R&A and USGA. Unlike cheap "copy cat" versions of our design, the

Golfmechanix Tungsten carbide insert has 6 indexable cutting faces, precisely cut

to replicate the ideal groove as specified by R&A rules (app II, 5c). The sharp

Tungsten blades cuts through most alloys from which irons are made from easily,

provided that hardness does not exceed 42 HRC on the Rockwell Hardness Scale.
