PREPMASTER Shaft Prepping machine Unpleasant and time conssuming; Shaft

tip prepping is an important step in the club making process as the structural

integrity of the shaft tip and the strength between shaft and head strongly

depend. Thus adequate and careful tip preparation is a must, especially when

shafts starts to run into the hundreds if not thousands daily.

To make shaft prepping in large volume possible; We had to "borrow" the

widely used "centerless grinding" technique used by shaft makers while reduc-

ing the complication, cost and foot print typical of such a heavy duty machines.

Our solution a small tool capable of handling shaft tips in the hundreds with

very little setup time and quasi automated process that relieves the operator

from intense focus while providing consistent results tip to tip.

As a bonus feature; we've calibrated the "centerless drive train" to enable

shaft tip conversion from parallel to taper.
